Create a fun balloon turkey to inspire the Thanksgiving spirit in your family. To do this, fill the balloon with small pieces of paper listing different categories for your children to express their gratitude. You might include categories like toys, family, school, outdoor activities, indoor activities, home, stores, and bedrooms, among others. Once you’ve filled the balloon turkey with the papers, blow up the balloon and glue on the turkey wings, tail, and head patterns. Children weave the paper tail feathers into the tail pattern to make a unique design. For a fun Thanksgiving activity, devise a fun way for your children to burst the balloon, read the words on the papers, and give examples of what they can be thankful for in each category.
