Enhance your Vacation Bible School or Sunday School experience with this affordable and creative craft project that reinforces the Bible verse Matthew 6:34!
Children will love creating their own designs on the flower pattern. Once completed, they’ll be thrilled to gently blow on the front of the craft and watch it spin. Even little ones can join in since no tacks or pins are used, making it safe for everyone. This is just a heads-up: this craft isn’t suitable for toddlers because of the small pieces of the cut-up straws.
You’ll only need a few simple supplies: colored paper or white paper, 6mm and 8mm (5/16″) wide straws, tape, crayons or markers, a 5/16″ hole punch, small scissors, and some glue if you want to use it. Links to Amazon for the supplies needed are provided in the directions.
You can print the pinwheel patterns on colored paper and have your students pick the colors they want, or print them on white paper for students to create their own designs.
The craft patterns are available with the Bible verse and without words so children can add their own.
