Includes 4 Different Crafts with 20 Pages of Printable Craft Patterns:
Firefly Paper Bag Puppet
Includes the upper and lower wings, abdomen, and eye patterns. Children glue the shapes to a paper lunch bag to make a firefly puppet. Patterns are separated so that they can be printed on colored paper so children do not have to color them, or you can print them on white paper and have your children color them.
Firefly with Moveable Wings Activity Sheet
This activity sheet comes with two different sayings: “Let Your Light Shine!” Matthew 5:14-16 or You Were Meant to Shine! Children move the strip up and down to make the firefly’s wings move.
Glowing Firefly Craft
Children glue wings, head, and abdomen shapes to the background sheet. Glue a piece of yellow paper to the lower abdomen and paint it with cooking oil to make it translucent. They can also use a star punch to punch star shapes in the background. Tape the picture to a window and the firefly will glow.
You Are Meant to Shine! Firefly Activity Sheet
Children color the picture with colored pencils and then paint cooking oil on the firefly’s lower abdomen to make it glow when the picture is taped to a window or glass door.
All the patterns, games, and lessons in this store come from Danielle’s Place and are available through a yearly membership on The Resource Room.
