Children will have fun making this adorable hen-shaped matchbox craft, then sliding the box open to discover the chicks tucked safely inside. Even the hen’s little legs are revealed when the box opens!
The finished matchbox measures approximately 4″ x 2 3/4″ and includes eight chick pictures that children can take out, arrange, and place back inside.
And the fun doesn’t have to stop when the craft is finished! Turn the chicks into a Bible lesson review game by writing questions on their backs. Or write words or phrases from a Bible verse on the chicks and have children put them in the correct order.
