1. Interactive Bible Lesson
This lesson features a person dressed as a shepherd who enters the room in search of his lost sheep. Upon seeing the children, the shepherd explains that he has one hundred sheep, but one of them is missing. He expresses his eagerness to find the lost sheep, as it is likely hungry and scared. The shepherd encourages the children to help him in his search. Once they finally find the lost sheep, the shepherd smiles and hugs it tightly. He then tells the children that this experience reminds him of a story from the Bible. He proceeds to share the parable of the lost sheep and explains its meaning to them.
2. Lost Sheep Printable Book Pattern

With simple words that are easy to understand, kids will have a great time reading along with you. You can send it home with your students so they can enjoy coloring and reading it during the week, helping them remember the critical Bible lesson. Plus, there’s a colorful version, too, which makes for a fantastic visual that brings the story to life! It’s an excellent way to make learning enjoyable and meaningful!
3. The Lost Sheep Cotton Ball Craft Pattern

Use this craft to remind your children that Jesus does not want anyone to be lost. He pursues us and calls us back when we wander away. Children can use cotton balls, fiberfill, popcorn, or crumpled tissue paper to make the sheep look soft. They can also draw a background and add flower sticks to enhance the scene. To finish, have them write the memory verse at the bottom of the sheet to encourage them to study it throughout the week.
4. Popcorn Sheep Picture Pattern

Children will enjoy making a cute tactile sheep using popcorn or other materials. Be sure to prepare plenty of extra popcorn, as it may disappear into hungry mouths while they work. As they create their sheep, introduce the Bible lesson by telling them they will hear a story about a lost sheep. Encourage them to write the Bible verse or phrase on the bottom of their sheep, so they can take home a reminder of the memory verse.
5. Where’s the Lost Sheep Match Box Bible Craft Pattern

Young children will love this adorable Lost Sheep Manipulative. In this activity, children will glue Chenille stem legs and a face onto a white pompom ball to create a tiny sheep that can be stored in a matchbox. They can decorate the inside of the box and add food for the sheep. The outside of the box features a landscape scene with the words, “Where’s the lost sheep?” Additionally, the parable of the lost sheep from Luke 15:3-7 is displayed on the bottom of the box, while John 15:9 is printed on the side.
6. Peek-a-Boo Sheep Cup Craft

Young kids love playing peek-a-boo, and they’re going to have a blast with this interactive craft! They push up on the craft stick to make the lost sheep pop up and pull it down to make it disappear. To whip up this fun craft, start by cutting some slits around a green party cup to look like grass. Then, glue a piece of paper on the front that says, “Where is the lost sheep?” After that, color in a cute sheep design, glue it to a craft stick, and stick that into the bottom of the cup. This craft is guaranteed to keep little ones entertained and smiling!
