Isaac Keeps the Peace Bible Lesson – KJV

Suitcase Craft – Children unleash their creativity as they make suitcases and draw pictures or select from images of what Isaac and his family might have taken with them on their journey to their new home.

Three-D Donkey Craft Activity for Children – In this creative project, children will color a delightful donkey pattern that transforms into a charming 3D donkey, complete with a functional pack on its back. Once the donkey is fully assembled, kids can fill the pack with various items that Isaac and his family might have brought on their journey to their new home. This hands-on activity not only encourages artistic expression but also sparks imaginative storytelling as children consider what essentials would accompany them on such an adventure.

Donkey Envelope Craft – This craft is similar to the 3D donkey craft but much easier. Children color the donkey’s pack and get it ready for travel.

Bible Lesson Visuals – The teacher presents this lesson using printable Bible figures such as Isaac, his wife, and their children Jacob and Esau, along with animals, bags of grain, and wells, available in both color and black-and-white patterns.

A Memory Game – Children enjoy the challenge of trying to remember what their classmates packed for Isaac and his family.

Isaac Keeps the Peace Bible Lesson Review Printable Board Game – Children pretend they are Isaac and travel around the board, claiming wells by answering questions correctly when they land on them. The child who has the most wells wins.

Isaac’s Wells Can Craft – Children create pencil holders by coloring patterns of wells and taping them to tin cans, serving as a reminder to be peaceful like Isaac from the Bible lesson. – KJV

Work on a Bible Verse Review Sheet for Older Children – Children review the Bible verse by highlighting the words on the sheet that match the Bible verse, skipping the words that do not belong. – KJV

Guess Which Well Has Water Game – This is an outside game in which children get wet, so it is great for VBS on a hot day.
