In the fifth and final lesson, children learn the Christmas story is more than just a story about Jesus’ birth; it is a story about how God loves us and planned for us to be saved and live with him forever.
Every week, your children will make Christmas tree decorations that relate to different parts of the Christmas story. They will enjoy watching your Christmas tree transform and become more beautiful with each passing week.
If you don’t have space for a Christmas tree in your room, you can send the ornaments home with your children, or create a large paper tree and tape the ornaments to the tree.
These lessons can be adapted for any age group by adjusting the content.
